Parking: Public parking is available at 5145 Fleming Park Rd. Lafitte, Louisiana.
Departure Details: Tour departs from 5145 Fleming Park Rd. Guests will go down to the ticket booth and check in for boarding. Customers that decide to drive to the swamp tour location need to show up at least 30 minutes before departure. If the customer chooses transportation, guest must call to confirm pickup time and location. Hotel pickups begin 1 hour &amp; 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time. Please be waiting outside pickup location. No pick-ups from Private Residences or Short Term Rentals like Airbnb or VRBO. Please locate the nearest hotel for roundtrip transportation. For any issues, please contact your provider, Airboat Adventures, at 504-689-2005.
Gratuities: Although not required, it is appreciated and encouraged to tip the tour guide/driver.

We went on the airboat with TikTok. He shared a lot of information. Loved feeding the gator. It started to rain at the end of the ride and he made sure to get us in before we got soaked!!! Would do this over again!!!

Ronnie was a fantastic guide.  He was able to show us quite a few alligators.  He even made sure that the airboat ride was fun and we got sprayed with a little water a few times which was great because it was HOT.  At the end of the ride we were able to hold a baby alligator.  Amazing experience and I highly recommend.

Saw 3 gators (a little one was as we were pulling out from the loading zone!) Our guide, Kenny was very entertaining (I was his mark to be roasted.......which I loved!) He also gave us the best tour he could while looking out for our safety. A storm cloud was brewing and we had to cut the trip short by 30 minutes so as not to get struck by lightning.

So much fun.

This was an exilerating experience to say the least. I am a fan of speed and horsepower, so this was right up my alley. Capt Mike operated the airboat with such a smooth flow, that there was no doubt that he was extremely skilled and experienced. He was informative and courteous. He provided a first time experience that will keep us coming back again. Highly recommend.

Well just to begin, reconsider going in August.  It has nothing to do with Rajun Cajun, they were beyond GREAT, more about that in a minute.  But August is 95-100 degree with 90% humidity.  Ungodly HOT!!!
Now for the good stuff.  We took the shuttle option which picked us up at the front door of the hotel.  About a 30-45 drive to the Rajun Cajun facility.  They checked us in right away and about 10-15 minutes until our boat was ready.  Our guide, sorry cant remember his name, was a young blond man who was very knowledgeable and a keen sense of humor.  It was a 9 passenger air boat, which is there smallest boat.  3 rows of 3 person padded benches.  Be warned, no seatbelts or rails, so hang-on.
Saw some small Gators as soon as we got out onto the main swampway.  The guide talked about how they eat and sleep as well as the history of some of the plantlife around us.  All pretty informative stuff.
Once we got out of the main swampway and into some back water, he revved up the fan and we started really moving.  Stopped a few times to get closer looks at a few Gators and he gave us some more information.
Now for the warning.  STAY HYDRATED!!!!  Bring some water with you and maybe a small ice chest with ice and more water.  My wife got overheated and really ill.  Fortunately it was at the very end of the tour.  I asked the guide to take us back and he again revved up the boat and brought us back right away.  Thanks to his concern, things could have gotten much worse.  He helped us bring her to the air conditioned office and got us more ice and water.  Cannot thank them enough for all of there honest help and concern.  Glad to say that after about 1-2 hours later, my wife was ready to get back in vacation mode.
Highly recommend Rajun Cajun.  Worth the $120 each (included transportation).  It was everything we expected.  IT did NOT dissappoint.

I had requested AM Swamp Tour followed by Oak Alley. We did it the opposite. Made us over an hour later than anticipated on return. Paying an extra $78 to have nine people picked up 4 miles from the downtown area at an easy venue to negotiate, seemed a little excessive when I paid over $1200 for the group already. A little lagniappe may be in order for a big group for future guests. Dropping us off first instead of delving into the French Quarter to a small hotel to drop off a party of two would have been appreciated also.

Has to be the best tour I took this trip would recommend this to everyone so much fun. The plantion was amazing lots of history could have spent the whole day there! The swamp tour was surreal saw so many alligators guide was funny and also informative. Only recommendation is to bring drinks and snacks it’s tight on time and what is offered at the snack bar at the boat tour is junk food. Must do for a fun vacation!
