Departure Details: Gilligan's Watersports is located at 530 Harbor Boulevard E, Destin, FL 32541. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early with a valid ID and credit card for incidentals. Any issues, please contact your provider, Gilligan's Watersports Parasailing, Pontoon Boats &amp; Waverunner Rentals, at 850-650-9000.
Boater’s License: A Temporary Florida Boater’s License is recommended and may be required for your activity! All drivers born on or after January 1, 1988, MUST obtain a license. Adults born BEFORE January 1, 1988, may operate a boat or personal watercraft without a Florida Boater License, so long as they have a valid driver’s license. However, in the interest of safety, we recommend that all drivers take the test and familiarize themselves with important boat safety rules. If possible you should arrive 45 minutes to an hour before your schedule time to departure. As it could be a line and some what of a hassle to get checked in. And your time does start at whatever time you booked. Please make sure to fill out all waviers online to help shorten your check-in process. 

Great experience! We were a party of 12 and had plenty of room on the pontoon boat. It was easy to drive and anchor once at crab Island. Highly recommend.

Worth it

We had a great experience getting a boat through Gilligan's in Destin. The boat was very nice and clean. We did have to wait a little past our reserved time to get our rental but it wasn't long. We would definitely rent from them again. We had a fun day in the sun.

This was literally the best part of our 6 day trip in Fort Walton Beach/Destin. (4 adults) The excursion itself was great…dolphins, multi-million dollar mansions, gorgeous boats, and of course crab island, which was a blast! Captain Logan was seriously the best! He was a great boating captain, but even better company. Very friendly and easy to talk to. 20/10 would absolutely do this again, and even request Logan as our captain.

Enjoyable day

Overall it was a good time.  We took the time to fill the waivers out online thinking it would save time and when we got there we had to fill them out again.  They gave us a different pontoon then what we booked and come up find out there was another Wilson with a reservation so I believe we were given their pontoon and they got ours.  Also we didn't rent a Lilly pad but the boat they gave us had one on it and the kids got super excited.  They then told us they had us under the wrong reservation and we had to pay for the pad.  Well at that point we didn't have much choice so we paid extra for it.  Just wish they would've had our reservations right, one was Steven and the other was Travis.  They didn't check my voucher which probably would've stopped the confusion.  Oh well.... It is what it is and we had a good time but we probably won't do it again.

We rented a pontoon boat for a half day and  anchored at Crab Island. It was so nice and relaxing…we easily could have stayed the full day.  Will do a full day next time.

Check in process was very slow and the lady in the trailer was not as pleasant or as helpful as she could have been.   The guys by the dock were great and very pleasant and guy on a golf cart was do extremely nice and took our items and one of our friends who had trouble walking down to the dock on the golf cart.  Very much appreciated.   Thank you
