We had a wonderful time. The captain was great. He was very friendly and helped the 15-year-olds with their catch. He was very knowledgeable of surrounding areas and made sure that we saw dolphins and other marine life while we were out. We will be booking again with him on our next visit.

Very laid-back, very fun, relaxing. Beautiful views, very informative on information about the place. And all-around great experience and enjoyed it as our kids did too.

We had an excellent 3 hour boat ride! We got to see many dolphins up close playing in the water. We had a great time fishing in the bay. We will definitely book with Gulf Island Charters again!

Captain Danny was amazing!  We had such a fun experience.  We saw so many dolphins and he helped the kids with their fishing skills and they were so excited with the fish we caught.  We really appreciate the company working with us to reschedule, due to bad weather.  Totally recommend, 10 out of 10.

Great trip

We really enjoyed our experience on the family fun adventure charter. The caption and his crew member were very friendly and really helped our son to have a great time. The fishing wasn't the best, we only caught several small fish. I would give the listing 5 stars, but the information regarding the adventure is a bit deceiving. My son was counting on shelling, as well as fishing. We did get to do both, but it took a significant portion of our time slot just to travel to the shelling location. The captain did inform us before we left the dock that it would be a long trip to the location when we asked about shelling. Really my only complaint would be to update the listing to allow for those looking to book the package to know that it will greatly reduce your fishing time if you plan to shell. Otherwise everything was great and we would definitely return for another adventure!

We had a great experience on Captain Joe "Fishbait" Hester's 6 hour partyboat fishing trip. The fish were not really biting, but he worked hard to find fish so everybody caught a few fish. He was very fun to be around and tried to make sure everybody enjoyed themselves. It was extremely hot, and we could here other captains over the radio saying they couldn't get fish either. Captain Joe worked hard to put us on fish, and I would recommend this trip. Especaially for the price.

We had a great time and this boat trip accomodated our kids very well.  It was a long ride out to sea but it was fun and worth it! Great capitan and crew!! Highly recommend.

Had a great experience, captain got us on the fish and held the boat on em, deck hands Frank and Austin were awesome! The crew were very personable and friendly.Had a great time and caught alot of fish.. Highly recommend !

I was expecting a little more from the experience but I think overall the family enjoyed. 
I thought it was going to be more educational than it was. It was advertised as you would be learning about the species of fish and the other wildlife. There was none of that. 
We also had to take a 20 boat ride to get to where the best fishing spot was. Of our two hour trip, 40 mins was a commute and not fishing. We did see some dolphins which was neat however. 


The fish weren’t in high supply. We only caught four or five total. They were all catfish. 
I think overall it was fun forever home.

He took us to around different areas to fish... overall family was excited doing this inshore fishing.  Was enough for the littles who didn't have patience.

Excellent Trip, Dolphins were the goal, for.my daughter and granddaughter, and boy was it a score!
We watched a group of five or 6 all around us , them when captain Matt eased off the dolphins followed, jumping into and surfing the wake, they followed for a t least a mile or more! Great boat,, courteous and informative captain! 5 of 5 stars!

Best Private Dolphin Tour we’ve ever done!

We could not have enjoyed our tour more!! Captain Matt was excellent. There were 4 of us (3 adults and a 5 year old) The best experience I have spent money on in a long time. Dolphins were swimming all around us and Captain Matt got them to follow us. They entertained us with their jumps and tricks. Book this tour, one of the best ever.

Great time

The trip was great! Snorkeling did not work out as planned as there were too many jellyfish in the water.  Captain Matt was able to switch the trip up for us we watched dolphins, cruised on the boat and learned about the local landmarks. The captain was able to get the dolphins to plan in the boats wake it was amazing to watch!

Good trip

Capt Matt was flexible with our time due to the weather which was amazing!  It still wasn’t a sunny day but we still made it a fun trip. The music was fun and on point and everyone danced all day and enjoyed the day. He was knowledgeable about points along the way which kept it interesting. We followed playing dolphins. He made sure we had plenty to see and do. Highly recommend and we will be repeat customers

Cruise had me, my husband, and our 4 kids (23, 22, 17, 7). We all loved it. Captain Matt made sure we got to see dolphins and see them jumps the waves from his boat.
