My kids and I LOVED IT! This is the closest we’ve ever been to dolphins and getting up and close and getting splashed and it being part of general admission was amazing!! We loved everything about this place!

Even tho Gulfarium isn't your big to-do aquarium, there are some excellent shows and animals to view. The new dolphin area and show is a hit with us. Can't wait to come back a 3rd time to see the new manatee exhibit up and running.

Enjoyable

From the site and maps on the site this place looked like it would be a great aquarium. Turns out it’s pretty small and there is not a lot to look at. The re were a total of two shows (Dolphins and sea lions) and although both were enjoyable they only lasted about 8-10 min each. As far as the rest of the park there realistically wasn’t much to look at, which was disappointing. Hardly any fish aquarium, one shark with an above view that was too dark a tank to see, and a bunch of enclosures that had nothing in them that were under renovation. This place is definitely not worth the $30+/person that we spent. I can’t really recommend it at that steep a price and I probably wont be visiting again.

I’m sure down the line it will be better and very nice but right now not much to see. Too many exhibits under construction and the exhibits that are open had very few animals in them. It was extremely hot and there were no fans or misting stations open.

We are from out of  state and I wanted to show my kids a shark up close, the sea lions and dolphin show were so amazing!!!  Made us laugh! Loved the entire place , fun for the whole family for sure !!

I took five of my grandchildren to visit because they all have an interest in science. They loved the animals and robotics sections the best.  It was very educational and we were very impressed with all the activities  you offered.

Took my kiddo on a cloudy day and she had a blast! We especially loved the bubble experience and all the new things out back like the nature trail and tree forts. We will definitely be back!

Day of Dolphins

I loved the dolphin experience, we were up close and personal. We got to feed the siphon a fish, learned and gave some hand signs and loved on the dolphin. Next time we would love to try an even longer experience!!! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable too.

I loved the interaction as well as the friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Out of the encounters I did, this one was by my far my favorite! Milo was just the cutest and seemed so happy to be with us. We learned a lot about him and how to care for our environment to make sure the wild animals are safe and can live long life like him. I would 10/10 recommend this encounter.

This was an unreal experience! Seals are such beautiful and smart animals, and I’m so glad I got to meet Milo and his son Ollie. The trainers showed off how intelligent these animals were by showing us basic tricks. Most of these tricks are learned as ways to make it easier for the trainers to care for them whether it’s brushing their teeth or having them get into specific positions to check their health. This was such a memorable experience, and I’m so grateful I was able do it.

The one on one encounter with the  penguins was priceless. Having a one on one with the penguin handler and hearing about where they come from their habits, their diet and their interactions with each other as well as their human handlers was very interesting. Being able to pet them and feed them, it was beyond exciting. Money well spent if we visit again I think will do the very same with the dolphins my son thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience as didI. I highly recommend it.

Penguin Encounter

It was a lot fun. My only complaint was that we had to pay for photos. It's 26 a piece for general admission, 48 a piece for penguins, and then another 40 dollars for photos. I think after 150.00 already spent they could throw in the photos for free. Especially since you can't take your own photos on a personal device.

Really enjoyed the experience.  Did not realize we also had to pay to get into the park to just go to the turtle encounter so thought it was a little pricy since we could not stay for several hours.  However we were able to catch the dolphin exhibit and it was fantastic.

My daughter (16), my son (5) and myself all enjoyed this encounter. I really liked how educational it was, it was not just about the interaction with the animal but also a teaching moment. We definitely recommend it!
