How to Redeem: Print this ticket or show the confirmation details from a mobile device for entry. Please have a valid ID to confirm the order if needed.
Parking: Public parking is available on-site. 
Departure Details: The tour departs from 55345 Hwy 90 East Slidell, Louisiana, 70461. If the customer chooses transportation, they must call to confirm their pickup time and location prior to departure. Pick up windows starts 1.5 hours prior to the scheduled tour time. Please be on the lookout for the bus. The 12:15 PM tour has a 10:15 PM pickup, and the 2:45 PM tour has a 1:15 PM pickup. Pickup location for the 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM tours is only available at 135 Decatur Street. Return time for the 7:30 PM tour is at 10:15 PM. Customers that decide to drive to the swamp tour location need to show up at least 15 minutes early to Cajun Encounters Swamp Tours. For any issues, please contact your provider, Cajun Encounters Tour Company, at 504-834-1770.
Gratuities: Although not required, it is appreciated and encouraged to tip your tour guide/driver.

First trip but not our last.

I didnt like being rescheduled after reserving putting us outside in the rain and cold w children but all in all it was a good experience and we had a blast and tripshock made reservations so easy!

We had a great experience with Cajun Encounters. The staff was friendly and the captain Patrick was excellent. We saw several gators, birds, and some wild raccoons! We highly recommend this tour.

Great tour

I took my kids, 11 and 12, and they had an absolute blast! I was worried 2 hours on a boat would bore them but they were not bored at all. They actually said “that didn’t seem like 2 hours at all.” Our captain Sonny was hilarious, knowledgeable, and definitely captivated his audience. The check in process could definitely use some updating. (Get there early enough to get your wristbands so you don’t have to wait in a cramped up trailer for 30+ minutes.) But the tour itself was perfect! Thanks for a great first time swamp tour!

A family must do outing!

Our guide Luca was a very kind, entertaining and knowledgeable man whom we really enjoyed. We saw plenty of wildlife and a small insight to how some who live in the swamps live. Worth every penny!

Super Guide Worth every penny

The swamp boat tour was very good and Luca was a knowledgeable and great guide. He kept the passengers engaged and entertained throughout the 2 hour trip. It was a cold January morning, which is why no gator surfaced (depends on the luck and if you can notice one) but we still saw some wildlife and predator birds in the swamp. Overall a good experience. I'd like to return someday when it's warmer and take the tour again.

nice relaxing view. Good food wasnt pleased that no drinks came with the meal.

Reservations were easy. Getting tickets on the day was fast. Boring was efficient. We were greater nicely and immediately taken to our table. The bartender was pleasant. The red wine that I had was good. The white wine that my wife had was okay. The live music was very good. The cruising was smooth.

Trip was great. The narrator was really good. Very interesting and well spoken.  Added humor too which was great.  Food was very good, better than some of the restaurants we tried.  We spent the time inside since it was rainy outside. Everyone working on the boat was very friendly too.  Great experience.

Swamp tour guide was awesome!!

Despite down pours of heavy rain, our guide was great. We did see one gator and some wild life. The small gator on the boat was a special treat for my 6 year old who loved the experience. Kudos to a well thought out tour with interesting history! Definitely recommend!

I’ve been on many gator cruises, this is by far the coolest one! It was a cruise that started at sunset, it was beautiful. Captain Mike was super informative and took us a little off the beaten path. Seeing gators at night with the flashlights was so cool! Just don’t forget long sleeves or pants due to the bugs. But there was even bug spray on board for us. Overall, we had an amazing time and loved Captain Mike! Would absolutely recommend.
