Parking: Parking is available on-site. Look for a large parking lot on the Gulf side of Perdido Key Drive, just west of Dave's Snowballs.
Departure Details: Activity departs from 13825 Perdido Key Drive, Pensacola, FL 32507. We are physically located on the beach. Please park in the lot, follow the path down to the beach, and look for a booth. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure to check in and review operational and safety procedures. Departs on time. It is best to confirm the activity with the number provided on the voucher at least 24 hours in advance. For any issues, please contact your provider, Southern Rose Dolphin Trips and Parasailing, at 251-981-7673.
Gratuities: There is a mandatory 15% gratuity fee that will be collected upon arrival.

My family and I had a wonderful experience on the banana boat ride. It was very exciting and relaxing at the same time. We would definitely do this again!

I’ve done raft rides, rollercoasters, and plenty of other thrill-seeking activities like this and have never thought “wow, I might not come back”. The reviews were all so good- but I don’t understand how and have no interest in doing a boat ride with this company again.

The driver intentionally hit his own wake, drove entirely too close to the parasail boat, and ignored our VERY OBVIOUS cues that we were done with our ride and ready to get off. In fact, he started going faster once he turned around and I sent a “cut off” signal on my neck and the signal for “time out”.  The driver took off before we were even fully on the ride and ready to go,  so we already started off unstable. Each turn he took nearly toppled us over and the straps on the ride were not secure. We felt unsafe the entire time. Due to the frequent shaking of him hitting his wake, I had to keep my feet tucked into the crevices of the raft (which was painful) to prevent myself from flying off even though I was holding on with all strength.


To top it off, They state that you must pay gratuity before your ride-which I read prior to booking, but we did not get to meet any of the staff prior to riding. I had already paid, and wish I would have just let them take my money and had the opportunity to walk away; but I didn’t even have a good chance to examine the raft for my own safety before he flew off into the water with us. 

We were nothing but polite the whole time and decided not to interact with the driver besides a “thank you” after our ride. 

If the ride were even a minute longer, I don’t think my body would keep holding on, regardless of how strong we both were just because of how reckless the turns and jumps were. 

If you are the faint of heart, do not have optimal upper body strength,  and you think it will be “relaxing”, I encourage you to look elsewhere for an activity. This straight up sucked.

The lady that dealt with booking wasn’t very friendly and was very unbothered. When you get there, another payment is needed to be made that includes the gratuity and parking fee. I, personally, feel as though that should be included in booking at the time of payment. The captain told us that parking would be free and she still charged us. The team also lack communication skills. We traveled all the way from Louisiana and the only person on the team that showed us hospitality was the guy on the jet ski that pulled the banana boat. Despite the trouble my family and I went through regarding check in, the ride itself was amazing!!!!!

Wonderful day. We had the whole boat pretty much to ourselves. Saw dolphins. 
Learn a little something.  The captain and deck hand were awesome.  Super funny.

First…our trip was re-booked (by us) to the 6th.

The first hour out was great…lots of dolphin sightings. That seemed to leave an hour ‘to kill’ so the tour explored some areas that involved (largely) viewing examples of overdone conspicuous consumption…monster, single-family homes along waterfront…ich! In this sense, the first hour covered the base we’d signed on for…tour could have wound up there.
A couple of suggestions…corny puns were fun intermittently, but got a little overdone. The tour leaders seemed very knowledgeable (& friendly) & provided a lot of interesting info’ but sometimes spoke so fast it was difficult to follow.

Jet skis were fine once we finally were able to ride. 
The gal running the jet ski rental was so far from helpful. 
Wasted plenty of our time. We generally go to key sailing but I messed up. 
The process of things that needed  done prior to riding was not ran effectively communicated resulting in wasted time. 

A lot of questions not answered. A lot of waiting around because we were t told we needed to fill out another waiver beyond the one on the internet. 
We were there over two hours just waiting….. 
will not be back.

We had the best time! We paid for a half day of fun. It was honestly plenty of time for four people to go to a few islands and snorkel. The best pet was we saw dolphins up close on the way back!! The pricing was great, too. We would sail with this company again!

Pontoon boat was good.  Little old- instrument panel was hard to read and some not working at all.  Seats were comfortable and in good shape.  Motor seemed good.  Good price.  Would recommend.
