Parking: Parking is available for a fee at 314 Harbor Blvd. Paid parking using the Passport app is required to park across the street. The check-in location is 316 Harbor Blvd in Heron Harbor down on the harbor. 
Departure Details: The speed boat thrill ride is located at 316 Harbor Boulevard E, Destin, FL 32541 at Happy's Watersports. The rental booth is located down the hill in a white kiosk. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early with a valid ID. It is best to confirm your booking at least 24 hours prior to your departure date. Cruise departs daily during the spring and summer seasons. Any issues, please contact your provider Screaming Eagle Sports at 850-499-1444. 
Gratuities: Although not required, it is appreciated and encouraged to tip your tour guide.

We selected a sunset cruise. We had a little trouble finding dolphins but when we finally did, we were able to see several of them and they raced the boat and jumped out of the water very close to us. We had a great time.!

We went on the 7 pm speed boat ride on Thursday, 7/28/22.  The two guides(I can’t remember names) were so much fun and made the ride fantastic.  The best part was when we were going fast and the two dolphins were following in the ocean/bay behind us.  All three of us have been on different boat rides over the years but this was definitely the best one yet.  Thank you.

Our captain was the best. Very fun and kind. I much appreciated the fact that alcohol wasn’t served and the conversation on the boat was family friendly. We saw a lot of dolphins and the captain shared lots of stories and pointed out the sights. Would 100% recommend!

They were 15 minutes late arriving.  After signing paperwork it was 35 minutes before we got out. Pulling out he hit a post. He backed up to try again and couldn't get it into gear. He fiddled around with that another 5 minutes. Couldn't  get it in reverse, but took us out anyway.  Saw a few dolphins. Brought us back early. Would not recommend.

We apologize that your experience with us was not as expected. As you may know, boats can encounter issues from time to time and your trip happened to be affected by a minor issue. To state that the captain is inexperienced because of this is erroneous. Our captain did his best to rectify the situation and still make the trip possible despite these issues. As we understand that these circumstances are not ideal for any customer it does not justify the character assination you and your party have posted regarding our business. Great Time

My group were aboard the Screaming Eagle dolphin sunset cruise 4-19-22. The Captain and 1st mate were outstanding in helping my party get aboard safely and on to the dolphins in mere minutes. We literally saw a hundred! Small but sturdy covered speedboat.Good folks to work with y'all!

On the dolphins!

There is very few things I write reviews about but we did the dolphin / sunset cruise with Screaming Eagle.  The first half hour of dolphin watching we did see dolphins with some pretty lame narration. The thrill ride part was non existent. The sunset was pretty but could have been seen the same from land. Save your money way over priced

We are very sorry you had a lame time with us on our sunset-dolphin cruise in beautiful Destin Fl.  We offer cruises daily on a speedboat however, depending on the  wind and or water condition determines how much thrill the captain can offer. We do offer a thrill ride, but safety is our main priority. A thrill ride does not mean we can fly across the water at an unsafe speed.  We go fast enough to provide a great time in a safe manner.  To address the sunset,  you are correct, you can see the sunset from the dock as well as, from anywhere in the world, However, it is all about perspective and opinion. Most people are truly taken by being out on a boat watching the sunset , surrounded by the emerald green waters of Destin, Fl. We get many, many great reviews and most people have a fabulous time with us. Once again I am sorry your experience was lame.

I was looking for a sunset dolphin trip, but stumbled in to this pirate adventure. My grandkids (age 2, 5, and 11) had an amazing time and their parents did too. Highly recommend!

Brandon was a fantastic captain! He was knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor, kind, (and had a great playlist)! I struggle to go up and down steps and he went out of his way to help me on and off the boat. We saw dolphins, and he communicated regularly with the other boats to find the pods.  I would definitely recommend any boat where  he would be the captain!
