The Village of Baytowne Wharf is as pet-friendly as it gets! While each establishment has its own rules when it comes to pets, The Village itself allows canines, as long as they are on a leash. Owners are required to clean up after their pets, as well, and waste stations are conveniently located throughout the facility.

Be sure to check out Baytowne’s Event Calendar before heading to The Village with Fido, as there are many pet-friendly events for them to enjoy, as well. The Annual Mardi Gras Dog Parade, for example, is a popular event for both locals and visitors, as well as their four-legged friends!

2. Are the concerts at Baytowne Wharf free?

Every year from March to October, The Village hosts a wonderful Wednesday night concert series, as well as festive holiday concerts in December. No, you do not have to be a guest of Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort to go to Baytowne. The Village of Baytowne Wharf is always open to the public, even during events, unless stated otherwise. When arriving at the gates to enter The Village, just be sure to let security know you are headed to Baytowne, and they will provide directions, if needed.

4. Is Baytowne Wharf handicap accessible?

The Village of Baytowne Wharf is handicap accessible, with plenty of nearby parking available, as well as valet services, if needed. Baytowne Wharf is mostly an outdoor facility, with sidewalks and ramps for those with mobility issues to utilize. Service animals are allowed, as well.

Baytowne Wharf also has wheelchair rentals available on a first come first serve basis. These wheelchairs can be found at The Baytowne Wharf Neighborhood Association, located in Tupelo Courtyard, or at The Discovery Center, which is located in the parking lot near Another Broken Egg Cafe. A photo ID or credit card is required to hold as collateral until the wheelchair is returned.
