Parking: Parking is available for $20 in Lot J in front of building at 1380 Port of New Orleans Place, New Orleans, LA.
Departure Details: Mardi Gras World is located at 1380 Port of New Orleans Place, New Orleans, LA, at the foot of Henderson Street, in the Central Business District. It is on the south end of the Convention Center. Mardi Gras World is open 7 days a week 9:00AM - 5:30PM with tours running every 30 minutes (last tour starts at 4:30pm) and lasting approximately 1 hour. The museum is closed Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, Easter and Mardi Gras Day. Mardi Gras World offers a complimentary shuttle with designated pick-ups downtown. We enjoyed the film & learning the history of the  company and the  process of making the floats. Would recommend this tour highly.

The tour was very informative. I loved seeing all of the hard work that goes into making the different parts for the finished product-which is the floats.

Fascinating tour!  Educational video but best part was visiting the warehouse and seeing all the floats headed to their new float event. Highly recommend this tour

This was by far a very memorable adventure. EVERY aspect of this event was amazing, from the video, King Cake, and lastly, the walk through tour on how the floats and props are made, to seeing the finished products. I’d recommend that anyone visiting NOLA, incorporate Mardi Gras World on your itinerary!!!!
