The dolphin reef is one of the oldest and most established in the area filled with marine life and is only 800-1000 feet offshore with a depth of 15-25 feet. It is located super close to the departure site and is convenient without long travel times like other snorkel tours. All the snorkel gear and a guide for your safety are provided, as well as a 20-foot lilly pad if you need a much-needed break. Departure Details: This tour departs from behind Pompano Joe's restaurant at 2237 Scenic Gulf Drive, Destin, FL 32550. Please arrive at least 45-60 minutes before departure. Tour departs on time. Any issues, please contact the provider, Ft. Walton Beach Parasail, at 850-438-5555. 
Gratuities: Although not required, it is always appreciated and encouraged to tip.

We have never been snorkeling and were apprehensive at first but Carson put us at ease immediately and even tried as hard as possible to find a turtle to see. There’s no one better.

The best experience ever!

Randy and his wife Deena were so kind and fun and went above and beyond to make our trip perfect!!! Could not say enough great things about our experience with them! Sunset was absolutely breathtaking!

Snorkeling

Our family have been on several snorkeling adventures. This one was great because it was semi private. We got to see a big turtle and reef shark. Best to go in the morning. The guide was friendly and helped us to spot the marine life.

Guide was very experienced. Boat Ride was simple, people were checking in were extremely friendly! This is a great experience for a novice diver!

I didn't see any underwater life but the experience was unforgettable. I wish the life jackets were standard and not the simple blow up jackets. I loved the banana boat ride, that was the best part!

Scary-fun!!

The staff was great and accommodating!  The disappointment was the snorkeling itself - we couldn’t see anything and two in our party were stung by jelly fish, so we were over it pretty quickly.  Don’t go in with high expectations, the best part was probably the banana boat ride out there and back.  Overall, not too upset about it, everything that happened was out of the staff’s control.

Great Staff

From the moment that they situated us with our masks and vest till we arrived back on land, we had a great time! After a quick ride on the banana boat we arrived at the blue mat where Carson explained the history of the reef and gave us some instructions. We were so lucky to see a manta ray, several large fish, a baby sea turtle, a sting ray and schools of beautiful fish. Carson was great with pointing things out to us. The staff on the beach was excited to hear about our sightings too and engage in conversations with both of my daughters. We had a great time and would recommend for everyone to go snorkeling at the reef!
