Parking: Parking is available on-site for a fee. Please turn off of Hwy 98 to 314 Harbor blvd. You will see a sign that says &quot;Heron Harbor&quot; for the parking lot. There is parking at the top and also down below by the docks.
Departure Details: This tour departs from Heron Harbor located at 314 Harbor Blvd, Destin, FL 32541. Once you park, head to the docks, where the provider's booth is located right by the boats. There will be a sign that says, &quot;Destin Pontoon Charters&quot;, you will check in there. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure to check-in. The boat departs on time. For any issues, please contact your provider, Destin Pontoon Charters, at 256-291-0377.
Gratuities: Although not required, it is always appreciated and encouraged to tip.

We had a blast Spencer and Cole were so much fun. They were so accommodating they took pictures for us and handed us drinks for the boat so we didn’t have to get out the water . They made the trip even more fun.

The boat ride out to crab island and the time there were fun, but the most fun part of the trip was having Spencer and Cole! From the moment we got on the pontoon they were an absolute blast. So friendly and willing to help with anything! They make the trip!!!

Stephen & Axle were awesome boat captains. There were lots of activities for us to do once we got to crab island and they both got right in to join the fun. We had our 3yr old with us and she loved it!
They knew a lot about the area and gave us plenty of local food recommendations that weren’t totally full of tourists. Would book again!

We choose the 8:30 trip to crab island. We had a party of 13, 5 being kids ages 2-9 years.   We questioned bringing ours kids but it was the most fun we had all week.  Spencer and Caleb were our captains and they were very accommodating and so much fun.  We brought rafts but did not need them. The paddle boards and Lilly pads  that were provided were enough.  Our kids loved the  boats selling ice cream and fresh pineapples. I highly recommend this trip and would do it again in a heart beat!  I would choose the early trip, the longer we were there, the busier it was.

Hoosier Boat Renter

Boat was great, staff at tge check in was great, but tgat part is a bottleneck. Needed more staff to pull it off efficiently. I was suppose to get an email to fill out waivers before I got there, but never did. That took an extra 15 minutes. Then there was a strange way to accept or decline insurance. Very confusing.

Fun adventure.

We arrived to FWB one day after Helene and we so grateful that the entire island was spared..and also so welcoming. We weren't able to swim bc the flags so I called crabisland.com. Chris Sehman came through in a clutch. He got us on a boat that was right across the street from our hotel, checked the tide forecast, and just guided us in all the right directions. 

The boat rental itself was a seamless process and everyone was super nice. Will definitely be back and book through trips tripshock.

I booked a pontoon boat rental through TripShock, which apparently acts as an agency for individual rental operators.
When the rental I had chosen fell through, TripShock proactively found an alternate operator and made all the arrangements to switch my booking.
A woman from TripShock called me to let me know what was going on and answered all my questions, and TripShock followed up with e-mails and text messages. They even told me the best place to park near the marina.
Oh, and the rental from the replacement operator turned out to be less expensive than my original booking, so I got a partial refund, too.
Before I started, I was a little wary of booking through an agency instead of contacting individual rental operators directly. But I am so glad I went to TripShock.com. Their web site is a great place to find a lot of offers, and I can't say enough good things about their customer service.

After finally getting through check-in (a few redundant and silly procedures really slow things down), we got our large group to the pier where the guys did an excellent,  and fun,  job of preparing us to take off. The boat was great (12 passenger double decker with dual slides) and easy to maneuver.  The only issue was the weather was cool,  so we ended up with a pretty short slide and swim session,  opting instead for more water exploring.  But still,  very enjoyable!

Chandler tailored our experience for us and it was the highlight of our trip!  My son and I went to crab island and paddle boarded then went to an area nearby and saw a bald eagle, cranes and lounged in the water. We then went on the hunt for dolphins and saw no less than 10 frolicking and jumping out of the water to include a mother and baby dolphin. Chandler was so accommodating and welcoming and made us feel right at home. 
I’ll be going to back to take friends and booking Chandler again then.

Great Experience to Crab island for first time. Excellent communication by our boat captain  and his Assistant Grace! Smooth ride to and from and they offered us our drinks from their coolers and took our pics. Bot was excellent size of small group with cute bar stools like a bar. Floaties are a nice addition. Exactly what you expect on a great day out on the gulf

Only 2 of our 6 total guests made it for this adventure due to uncontrollable circumstances. Nonetheless, we had a great time! As it was my first time ever being on or near the gulf coast and seeing the white sands and clear blue water. My sister being the other guest that made it. It was nice to share the experience. 
Our captain was friendly and knowledgeable, despite the suprise of just 2 guests attending, he had some funny jokes and kept us entertained the whole time. 
Our only downside is that our guests didn't come along, otherwise I will totally recommend this charter/website to others heading to the area.
