The Activity we Experienced
What we chose to do
Fabulous Food made this Our Favorite
How did you discover this activity?
I found TripShock on Google while searching for things to do in New Orleans.
When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?
I booked in March for our trip in July.
Why did you choose this activity?
I wanted something touristy to do on our trip and a steamboat dinner cruise seemed perfect.
How did you get to the activity location?
We walked from our tour bus trip to the steamboat entrance.
What was your experience with the activity’s staff?
The staff were all SUPER fabulous. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?
The food made this excursion the best experience from our entire trip! Red beans and rice, andouille sausage, jambalaya, green salad, bread, sweet tea, roasted chicken, fried catfish, bread pudding... After gorging on the fabulous food we walked around the boat. We found an isolated space and simply chatted about all the things on our trip. It was a boring trip but it gave us a great chance to just “be”. No homeless, no drunks, no merchants... it was pleasant and wonderful!
Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?
I would definitely recommend this to others. I’ve already recommended it to my family. I would highly recommend this for your very last excursion day of your trip. When you’re tired of walking, of sweating, of tasting bad “authentic” food and spending money, this is the perfect event. It’s the perfect end to a great trip.
