How did you discover this activity?

I googled dolphin cruise while on vacation in Destin. I showed my family a few choices and we found a great deal on a boat with a cover.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked our dolphin cruise the day of our departure. It was actually 3 hours before departure time.

Why did you choose this activity?

I have always wanted to do a dolphin cruise since we have been coming to Destin four years ago. So my wonderful husband decided we would do a cruise the day before we left.

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove our car about 4 miles to the harbor and pulled right in without any trouble.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The Captain was very friendly and had some great information about Destin that we never knew. The crew was amazing. They came around and talked with our family and volunteered to take several pics of us.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

This was our first family boat ride and dolphin cruise so we will never forget it. We were able to see tons of huge jellyfish and learn about them from the crew member. As we rode into the Gulf from the bay, the Captain warned it would be a little rough for a few minutes so we hung on to the children a little more but it only happened for a short time.

Then, as we turned into the Gulf and saw the most gorgeous emerald water of the Gulf of Mexico it was breathtaking. Then within 30 minutes of our ride we saw over 10 dolphins. That was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. To see the dolphins come up out of the water 3 and 4 at a time was something we will never ever forget.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I came home and called my family and told them we need to have a huge family vacation and do the dolphin cruise. We also told all our friends at school and recommend when they go to do a dolphin cruise. It was the best!
