We had heard about Crab Island in Destin, FL. When I searched on Google for boat rentals, TripShock came up with tons of options!

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked about one month in advance!

Why did you choose this activity?

We thought it would be fun for our bachelorette group to get to experience Crab Island from a private boat charter.

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove and found parking at the harbor, and it was pretty easy!

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Captain Steve did a fantastic job! He was extremely nice, accommodating, friendly, funny, and provided tons of fun stuff for us, such as paddle boards and a lily pad to use in the water. He also brought a cooler with ice so all we had to do was bring the drinks and snacks, and show up for the activity!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We had an incredible time listening to good music and enjoying all that Crab Island had to offer, all while feeling safe behind the wheel of an experienced captain. We spent hours on the water and never felt like we weren’t safe with our boat and captain. Captain Steve said he wouldn’t let any strangers on the boat and our stuff would be safe if we swam away. We also enjoyed the slide from our boat and swimming in the water. It was so clear and beautiful!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would definitely recommend this activity to other groups! It was perfect for a small group that wants a private charter and doesn’t want to share with strangers.
