We searched for guided crab island tours in Destin for our girl’s trip and that’s when we found TripShock!

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked about 2 weeks in advance!

Why did you choose this activity?

We have always wanted to go to crab island but did not want to be responsible for driving our own boat there. When we saw we could go with a guide we were on board!

How did you get to the activity location?

We actually went to the harbor the night before to see exactly where we would need to go. We just so happened to meet our captain that night and he answered any questions we had! The next morning we showed up and boarded with ease!

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Captain Chandler was such a gentleman! He helped us on and off the boat, took pictures for us, played some jam-up music, and brought us to see several dolphins!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

To start the trip, we went into the gulf to look for dolphins. We found some in less than 5 minutes! It was pretty awesome! After that, we rode to crave island and hung out for the remainder of our time. I think our favorite part of the trip was simply the boat ride. We got to admire and take in the beautiful views of Destin and the Gulf of Mexico. The sunshine and wind blowing through our hair made it so relaxing. We loved just riding around on the boat. Seeing a baby dolphin was definitely a plus though!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would definitely recommend this activity to anyone that is on a girl’s trip in the Destin area! Even if you aren’t on a girl’s trip, this activity would also be so enjoyable for a couple or family! Trust me… Don’t walk, run!
