Why did you choose this activity?

It was something that none of our family had ever done before and we all generally enjoy fishing, so wanted to try a different kind of fishing than we get to do back in Nebraska.

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove from our Airbnb in Miramar Beach-didn’t take long at all and parking was convenient.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The Captain interacted and was fun to listen to. The deckhands were super helpful and patient with us!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We very much enjoyed this new activity and it was a good one for everyone to be able to do on their own. We got great pictures of our catch, even though we couldn’t keep them all because of size or being out of season, but we will forever remember this experience. Getting to take our fresh fish to one of the local restaurants on the boardwalk to get it cooked immediately was really helpful as we were leaving for home the next day.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

It’s a great activity for families that enjoy fishing. I’m not sure I would take kids younger than maybe 10 or 12, but that depends on their interest and strength, and overall attitude towards trying new things if they’re not from the area.
