We found TripShock on Google while searching for things to do in New Orleans. After browsing for things to do, we decided on the airboat tour and a few other adventures!

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked two weeks in advance.

Why did you choose this activity?

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, and wanted to do something we had not done before. Neither of us had been on an airboat before.

How did you get to the activity location?

We took an Uber out to the location. We flew in, and we had been walking to all of our events, but this one was a bit too far to walk to.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Ronnie was our captain, and he was lots of fun and very knowledgeable. The staff at the check-in counter and in the gift shop were very friendly and helpful! We definitely experienced southern hospitality!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

There is a nice deck you can sit out on with a bar while you wait. Everything was organized as far as getting everyone boarded and to the right boat. It was a lot of fun to watch the gators in their habitat. The airboat ride was a lot of fun!

Learning history about the bayou was very interesting. Ronnie made sure to keep things interesting and fun. We felt totally safe, and had fun, so it was a win-win. If you like a little adventure, you will enjoy an airboat swamp tour.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes, it was fun! We can’t wait to bring our kids back! We came as a couple for this trip, but we will bring them back.
