How did you discover this activity?

We Googled many air boat tours, but they were a little pricey for our group. We were just about to give up, but I was determined to find a reasonable tour because taking an air boat through the swamps was our goal while on vacation.

Then I found a TripShock ad on Google and gave it a shot. Thank goodness I did. I was so excited that I booked the tour before I even told my group. They were so excited!!

I booked the air boat tour two days prior to going!

Why did you choose this activity?

My boyfriend and I discovered that Louisiana was both of our dream vacation spot. We also discussed it was a must to experience the air boats and swamps, so why not take the tour with a guide who knows all about the wildlife.

We both wanted to see gators! My boyfriend’s goal was to wrestle an alligator. However, my goal was not to spend the vacation in the hospital in case he lost.

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove ourselves to the location.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The staff was very pleasant! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. It was a great experience!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

I believe the most memorable moment was watching my group’s faces during the air boat ride. Priceless!

It was all of our first time experiencing it, and we loved it. We did see several gators and other wildlife, like turtles, birds, and a bald eagles nest.

The cypress trees were absolutely beautiful! The tour guide also made it worth the trip. He was very funny and told stories of his childhood related to the swamps.

All staff were born and raised in Louisiana swamps and were very knowledgeable of the wildlife. We are actually planning another group trip to Louisiana next year! I’m already excited!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes! If you visit Louisiana, you have to take an air boat tour, whether it be a private tour or not! The tour was two hours long, and the air boats are really fast!
