I stumbled upon tripshock trying to figure activities that would be kid friendly in New Orleans.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I booked a few days in advance with no problems.

Why did you choose this activity?

I choose this activity because a was traveling by myself with my four children so I needed to find something safe yet entertaining for them to do.

How did you get to the activity location?

Another reason why I chose Mardi Gras World is bc they offered shuttle transportation to and from the location...which was a BIG plus considering I had four children in tow and two of which are three yrs old(my twinkies).

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The staff was welcoming and warm. They give you beads and King cake once you check in.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We enjoyed learning the “when, why, who and how” of Mardi Gras and seeing the inspiration first hand of how the various floats are made. Everything was kind friendly and fun to look at. Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes because it was very enlightening and fun just to be able to see how Mardi Gras is brought to life. My children loved the cake, the gift shop and seeing all the floats.
