When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked a few months in advance. We are planners! Lol!

Why did you choose this activity?

This is an annual activity for us when we go to Hilton Head

How did you get to the activity location?

Our house rental was in Palmetto Dunes so getting to the boat landing was just a 15-minute drive.. away from the busiest part of the island.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Everyone from the girl that checked us to the guy that gave us all the rules and maps.. they were all so kind and helpful!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The day was absolutely perfect! We took the boat over to Daufuskie and docked it there for a couple of hours. We explored Daufuskie and found a deserted beach with the most amazing driftwood. Art and seclusion for miles! Breathtaking! We grabbed some lunch and got back on the boat. As we were leaving Dayfuskie we found ourselves surrounded by dolphins… probably 8 of them. I was even able to catch one jumping out of the water on video! It was incredible!! Then we tried our luck at some fishing. We caught and released 4 baby hammerheads. It was so thrilling and a great reminder of just how many sharks are in those waters. For the rest of the day, we enjoyed cruising around, feeling the awesome breezes, and getting just the right amount of sunburn. It was a fantastic day and will be a treasured memory.

Everyone should do this! You get to see all kinds of things you wouldn’t get to see if you don’t get on the water!
