We found this adventure on TripShock. I searched and based on reviews picked this activity to book. We’d been on a dolphin cruise in the past, but it was unsuccessful.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked about two weeks before our traveled date

Why did you choose this activity?

My youngest son is six. His very favorite animal is a dolphin and he wanted nothing more than to see dolphins in “nature” as he calls it. I also knew that my crew would love the snorkeling aspect as well and I thought what could be better than doing both at once.

How did you get to the activity location?

TripShock notified us of the address and we drive for our resort on Miramar beach down the road to Destin to board the boat.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Our crew was amazing!! Cody, Kaden, and our Captain were so knowledgeable about what we were seeing. They got into the water and made sure we knew where to go to snorkel, kept us safe from getting too far out and into a strong current, and were incredible with our kids.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We saw SO many dolphins and sharks! Our captain even made the comment that this was a dolphin and shark cruise. I knew my youngest son would be in heaven seeing the dolphin, but what I didn’t realize was how much my 10 year old son would enjoy the trip. He’s a bit of a science geek and has ALWAYS been knowledgeable about animals. The crew allowed him to help them “spot” the sharks and dolphin from the front of the boat. He was so thrilled to do this and left knowing even more that he wants to do something similar in his adult life and career. He’s headed home to begin scuba certification in order to do even more on future trips. We have an amazing experience!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I’d definitely recommend this to other families. I think those with kids around our age would love this as much as we did!
