We used Google to find things to do with dolphins in town. We chose sunny lady because it was the most reasonable priced.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked the day before our excursion.

Why did you choose this activity?

The price was great and the reviews looked very good so we decided to go ahead and book. The website looked very legit with lots of information.

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove to the harbor from our Airbnb which was about 12 minutes. It was very easy to find.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

I cannot brag on the staff enough. The captain was incredible. He was very knowledgeable about the dolphins and was very happy to answer any questions. You could tell that he enjoyed his job as well as enjoying everyone who is also on board. I loved how excited he got when we saw a dolphin. He was very good at explaining where the dolphin was so no one missed an opportunity to see it. He made absolutely sure that the majority of our trip was all of us getting to see dolphins. While we were driving by the expensive yachts and beach houses he explained a little bit about them which was very interesting to hear about. The best part about the cruise was getting to see the manatees. He had said that he had been doing tours as a captain since 2006 and he is only been able to see the manatees about 10 times so that was very exciting. He was also so great with our kids by letting them hold the parrot and even drive the boat. The rest of the staff was very respectful and kind to everyone. They always addressed you with a smile on their face. Everyone was very calm and welcoming. It felt less like a tour for tourists and more like they wanted us to come and see their favorite spots for dolphins.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The manatee was definitely the coolest part of the tour. It was super rare so we were all very lucky to have seen it. Again the captain and the staff are absolutely wonderful and I cannot brag on them enough. We got to see so many dolphins as well as other interesting things on the ocean as well. I love that the kids got to drive the boat and hold the parrot. One hilarious thing that happened while we were on the cruise had to do with a family who had called to let the captain know they were going to be late. Well the captain was very adamant that they needed to be there on time or the boat was leaving. Some of the staff was telling the captain that they saw them and pulled in and they were walking towards the dock. The captain told them to please run because we have dolphins to see. They didn’t run and they kept coming one by one very slowly to the boat. He ended up leaving some of them because we were already late and everyone else had showed up on time! Be on time for this kind of stuff people!!! We all clapped when the captain finally left because this family was very disrespectful in being so late.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would absolutely love to recommend this activity to other people. We had such a good time and it was so worth the money in fact I would’ve paid more for the experience that we had. We saw so many dolphins and had such a great time. I could not see how this excursion would not be great for everybody. And you definitely don’t have to stand in order to see the dolphins you can literally stay sitting the entire time and see everything you need to. I will say make sure that you are on time! The captain leaves on the dot and he will straight up leave you if you are not there! Be there on a timely matter!
