We found the Crab Island Destin Excursion through a Google search. The reviews looked great, so we booked!

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked the day before and had no problem.

Why did you choose this activity?

I had been to Crab Island years ago with a college roommate. My girlfriend had never been to Destin, and thought it would be a fun activity. We looked at handful of tours and rentals, but decided on a Crab Island shuttle excursion.

How did you get to the activity location?

It was about a 5 miles from our beach condo, taking maybe 15 minutes because of traffic.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The Captain was very goofy and friendly, and made sure to point out the dolphins. His First Mate, Heather, was very entertaining and funny. They helped us on and off of the boat once we anchored, threw us drinks in the water, were there to take pictures if needed, and so much more!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We saw some dolphins as we were getting on the boat. The boat ride was smooth and the Captain and First Mate were very attentive and entertaining.

While we were out at Crab Island, we got some boiled peanuts and ice cream. We also participated in the “water park” with the floats on the water. We slipped and slided and busted our butts so many times! We even found a little salt water hermit crab on Crab Island! It was such a fun and memorable time.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would highly recommended this to any person visiting, adult or kid. There are plenty of activities to keep adults entertained, as well as things to keep children occupied.
