How did you discover this activity?

I was looking for a special way to spend an evening in Destin with my husband during our 10th anniv year. Tripshock had several great ideas, but the 2 Hour Sunset Cruise by Southern Country Charters stood out.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I booked on Monday, i think.

Why did you choose this activity?

I have wanted to enjoy the water on a private boat for YEARS - but i wasnt sure how to do it, short of making friends with a boat owner.

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove about 45 mins from Miramar Beach to Fort Walton, only because it was a high-traffic time of day. We met Capt Bill at the Ross Marler park to board the Catamaran.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Captain Bill was knowledgeable and friendly, we enjoyed chatting about the technical aspects of the boat and all the sights and sounds of the bay he knew very well!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We left the catamaran with unbelievable peace and relaxation, and we will take with us the memorable encounters we had along the way. There was a surprise Classic air show where planes were flying in formation right over our heads, a dolphin sighting by the coast guard facility, and a mass baptism event on the waterfront... not to mention the pleasure of sailing on a lovely and calm night, culminating in an unbelievable sunset! The photos were amazing!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would recommend this to anyone who wants to relax and unwind from the busy resort life!
