We were looking for transportation over to crab island in destin florida, but most places were booked because we waited until the night before. We found TripShock on google and found a great price on a pontoon boat!

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked late the night before we wanted to go to crab island.

Why did you choose this activity?

It was my daughter’s 21st birthday and she wanted to spend it on the water at crab island, enjoying her 1st legal drink, hanging out, and listening to music!

How did you get to the activity location?

Getting to crab island has to be by boat, water taxi, kayak, jet ski. I have never driven a pontoon and was nervous but Tanner at Gilligans explained it in detail and it was so easy!

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Tanner got our boat ready for us, he was personable and a lot of fun! He knew I was nervous and quickly gave me the confidence to drive the pontoon.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

On the 5-10 minutes it takes to get to crab island we seen several dolphins swimming right by us! Crab island was a perfect location for a 21st birthday! It was a big party on the water. Someone let us use their paddle board, loved the coconuts brought to us by boat vendors. We also had 2 smaller kids with us and they loved it as well! The water was crystal clear and everyone on the water was so nice. It seemed as everyone was having a great time!!!!!!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes! Gilligans was great, the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. Crab Island boat rentals can be stressful, and not all rental places do it right. But they made me feel very comfortable being a 1st time boat driver.
