My husband and I found TripShock on Google when searching for pontoon rentals to Shell Island. The prices were good and booking was easy.

I even had to make a change a coulple of days before arrival, and it was incredibly easy and hassle free.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked our pontoon boat about six weeks in advance.

Why did you choose this activity?

My husband and I took the kids out on a pontoon to Shell Island and they have talked about it for years, so we wanted to take them back this year as adults.

The water was crystal clear and the marine life is unreal. We snorkeled and found many star fish and crabs. We saw about six dolphins on the way out.

How did you get to the activity location?

Getting to the marina was about a 10-minute car ride from our condo.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The staff was very kind and knowledgeable of the boats and gave easy operating instructions to my husband and son-n-law who drove the boat. They also helped us load and unload the boat.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We saw about six dolphins on the ride to Shell Island and stopped while they swam all around us for some great photos.

We anchored at Shell Island and the water was calm and clear. We brought floats and enjoyed the beautiful water. We also brought all of our snorkeling gear and saw amazing marine life.

We saw a sea lion, a sea turtle, tons of fish and star fish. I highly recommend this trip no matter the ages of the kids. We did this when they were all young, but enjoyed it just as much as adults.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I highly recommend this trip! If you like to jet ski you can anchor your boat and rent right there at Shell Island.
