The Activity we Experienced

What we chose to do

This Swamp Tour is Both Fun and Informative

How did you discover this activity?

Since this was my second Swamp your (first one in 2013), I googled all of TripShock’s adventures.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

The tour was booked one day prior to the event.

Why did you choose this activity?

The first swamp tour that I attended alone 6 years ago was so exciting, I wanted my two granddaughters to experience the excitement.

How did you get to the activity location?

I drove a rental car to the location.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The Captain was extremely knowledgeable and his humor was estactic.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The most memorable experience was learning about the various kinds of wildlife, including the alligators, trees, and tree moss. I was not aware that parasites were located within the moss; thus, making it unwise to touch them. Additionally, just knowing about the danger of touching the trees (why? because of Cottonmouths and more).

Also, we viewed the old Indian Burial ground that was directly in front of one of New Orleans’ plantations. It was also good to see the oldest remaining oil drift in the area; thank you again for a great tour!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would absolutely recommend this activity because it was not only fun, but educational, as well.
