How did you discover this activity?

I found TripShock while googling sunset sails or dolphin watching near Santa Rosa Beach. It was nice to have all of the companies in one location with upfront pricing and availability without having to search for each company.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I was able to book our adventure about 1 week in advance but was able to book other events the same day or the next day when the kids said they wanted to do something else.

Why did you choose this activity?

I wanted to do lots of things while in Florida. A sunset sail just seemed like the perfect idea and definitely a bucket list. It was like real-life scenes in a movie.

How did you get to the activity location?

Parking in the hotel Parking lot was a bit confusing as the signs weren’t big enough to see where you needed to go to get to the dock or check-in spot.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The crew was amazing. We had a Captain, a first mate (who were also captains), and a bartender. Easy to talk to. Polite. And really could tell they loved what they were doing.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The views were amazing. You didn’t have to move around the boat if you didn’t want to. The captain would turn the boat so all four sides of the boat could see the sunset. We were able to put out the sails, which was a favorite moment of mine. Just enough wind to carry us. May want to bring a light jacket or sleeves due to the temperature change as the sun goes down and the wind picks up on the water, but never was unbearable. We were able to see deer as well and they followed the boat for a little bit. The crew called that the surf n turf Sunset Sail.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would recommend this trip to anyone. There were no worries. Always felt safe and it was super peaceful. Everyone on the boat was from 4 to 99, so it really was a trip for anyone to enjoy.
