When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked two days prior.

Why did you choose this activity?

We chose this activity because we love a boat ride! We wanted something memorable to do for a birthday celebration, and we heard that Crab Island in Florida was the perfect place for that kind of thing.

How did you get to the activity location?

We got there by driving in our car. It was a short drive from our condo.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The staff was friendly and accommodating! The folks at Tripshock and True Blue Pontoon made sure we knew how to use the pontoon properly, and covered all the basics. We felt very prepared to take the boat out ourselves!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We had a blast celebrating dad’s and our son’s birthdays. We had a wonderful time! We took a short ride over to Crab Island and had the best time. We did catch a light sprinkle, but we were able to duck under a bridge until it passed over.

It was the first time for our four year old to ride a boat. He did amazing. The kids are 4, 10, and 12. We took some Subway sandwiches with us and lots of snacks. Our cooler was full of goodies, as well! We also enjoyed the nice Bluetooth-equipped speaker that was on board.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes, absolutely. I was apprehensive at first, but loved everything about it! It’s a little scary to rent a pontoon and take it out into a place like the Destin Harbor and Crab Island, but everything worked out great!
