I booked it about 8 days in advance.

Why did you choose this activity?

I have wanted to go to Crab Island for years. Now that our kids are adults, and it was my birthday, I had the excuse I needed. We had to choose between a Crab Island shuttle boat, or a rental, and we went with the rental because we felt confident operating a pontoon ourselves. It was just my husband, myself, and our 3 kids with 2 of their significant others. It was the perfect day!

How did you get to the activity location?

Getting to the rental location was just a 2.5-hour car drive from our house.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The staff at the rental facility was awesome! They were all extremely nice, very informative, but quick and to the point as to not waste any of our time.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

I have wanted to go to Crab Island for years, but never put much effort into actually going. We thought it wasn’t really a place to take kids. Boy, was I wrong! There were kids all over, and it was super chill.. not at all like I thought it would be, which turned out to be perfect.

Not to mention, I was unaware it was so affordable. It was my birthday, I rarely do anything for my birthday, and for me, there is nothing better than spending the whole day with my family. We had such a great time just relaxing on floats tied to the boat. It was one of the best days I’ve had in a while, and absolutely the best birthday in years. I can’t wait until the next time.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would absolutely recommend it to others. Actually, between my husband & I, we have already given recommendations to four separate people that inquired about our day.
